That’s your unsafe driving right there! Check out http://www.climatecrisis.net for some good things you can do to increase efficiency in the rest of your life too.

For myself though Im 21 and from the age of 20 or so I have been changing my driving habits. Dont floor the car no speeding and what not. I for one enjoy driving and also enjoy a moderate to fast acceleration. So as I agree with your above statement and experiment and applaud such detail. I for one would have a somewhat difficult time achieving the same you have. In all honesty I would accelerate faster than you and that would be about it. As I like to avoid high ways to keep myself from speeding. As far as this being the answer to the “problem” at hand I dont think enough people will follow suit. As for me I will stick to the side roads where I can drive about 60mph (below 3000rpm) In my 97 328is BMW. I dont want to travel interstate at 55mph though.
As for the phycolocical (please excuse my spelling) mindset of a slower drive if people were to drive as such you are correct and that alone would help. Nice post Mr. I will keep in mind what it said. But every once in awhile I like to drag race onto the highway its kinda fun…..

So, the results are hardly surprising but still, it’s nice to see actual figures, although “your-mileage-may-vary” (pun intended).

Also, I think you meant to say “Lowering the speed limit is DEFINITELY not the answer”
