Notes:
The iMac was only used as a MythTV frontend and was running OSX 10.4. The frontend was a pre-compiled package that was installed on the system and set to start automatically.
Solved problems:
1. The iMac did not have a remote but that was solved by using a Belkin usb remote. Special mapping was set in the Belkin configuration to allow the remote to eject the DVD drive to play movies.
Outstanding problems:
1. The computer had low ram to run the front end and the 802.11 b/g cause a lot of lag when trying to stream the HD videos.
2. The LCD video quality was very poor. Blacks were grainy and looked more grey and colors were very washed out.
