Solved problems:
1. The PVR-500 was not fully supported with the V4L drivers. I was only ever able to use 1 tuner with less than usable quality. This problem wasn’t really solved for me but it would be solved for anyone else that uses this capture card because the driver now fully supports the PVR-500 tuner.
Outstanding problems:
1. The Hauppauge PVR-500 video card would not fit in the case with the DVD rom still in place. I had to leave the DVD rom not fully locked in if I wanted to use the PVR-500 video card.
