So I don’t usually like to post about Apple and their blunders because that would take far too much of my time. In this case however I found it too funny not to post something.
I am sure you all know about the “Hi, I’m a Mac” adds (and hopefully how blatantly incorrect they usually are) and I know that Justin Long and John Hodgman are just actors. But the fact is that Apple picked them to represent a certain demographic of user by how they look and what they are probably interested in. Meaning “the cool guy” is a Mac and the “nerd” is a PC.
But in the real world Justin Long is a PC user and John Hodgman is a Mac user.
This was just too good to resist.

    Oh come on. In the link you posted it even says Justin most likely uses a Mac. Yes he did by a pc too, but I guess if you had money like his why wouldn’t you by both comps? I know I would. Oh and I’m sure you’ve seen Microsoft’s new “I’m a PC” ads. I’m confused by those ads. What are they supposed to do? A bunch of people saying they are a PC? Is it supposed to just break down the stereo type that PC is a nerd? Whatever, I don’t think they are very effective, but who knows, maybe they will be.

    So out of curiosity, how are the Apple ads incorrect?

    I don’t really feel like getting into a argument about advertising. This article pushed me along to post this though.

    I saw a couple more articles all around the same time saying pretty much the same thing but I don’t have them in my history.
    And I know this isn’t the “I’m a Mac” add but this video has become pretty infamous for what people are finally realizing about Apple products.
